1. What is a radar level meter?

The radar level meter is like the "smart eyes" on the storage tank, which measures the height of the material by emitting microwaves. It does not need to touch the liquid or solid to know exactly how much is left in the tank.

2. Main features

Accurate measurement: the error is usually only ±3mm

Not afraid of harsh environments: high temperature, high pressure, and corrosive liquids can be used

Simple installation: just install it after opening the hole on the top of the tank

Basically maintenance-free: no moving parts, not easy to break

3. Working principle Three steps

The antenna emits microwaves (like a flashlight)

The microwaves hit the surface of the material and reflect back

The instrument calculates the round-trip time of the microwaves and calculates the distance

Q: What materials can be measured?

A: Almost all can be measured! Water, oil, chemicals, powder, particles...

Q: What is the maximum height that can be measured?

A: The ordinary model can measure 30 meters, and the special model can measure 70 meters

Q: Does it need to be calibrated frequently?

A: Basically no need, just calibrate once during installation

Choose 26GHz for small cans (more accurate)

Choose 6GHz for large cans (larger range)

Select self-cleaning function for viscous liquids
